Since 1983, Hampshire Sewing Machines has been proudly offering the biggest range of sewing machines and over lockers on the south coast.

Our customers include some very special people, like members of The Royal Navy, who have been using our machines since HMY Britannia was in service. Now, we also supply HMS Kent, HMS Daring and HMS Ark Royal, which sadly no longer operate.

We take care of all repairs right here at our own place, and we are completely independent, not connected to any other businesses locally. We offer a full year’s guarantee on all the work we do.

We sell a wide range of brands, including Juki, Janome, Alfa, Horn and Britannia.

In 2013, we celebrated our 30th year trading in Fareham as an independent sewing machine specialist, dedicated to helping you find the perfect machine for your needs, at the right price. We have over 50 years of experience in the sewing machine trade, starting with The Singer Company in Sales and Repairs and we are proud to look after our customers, both old and new, and we offer a friendly service, plus a 5-year guarantee on all new sewing machines, with certain conditions. Please ask when you buy. 

In 2023, we closed our High Street shop to concentrate on trading from the website and supporting our customers with servicing, repairs and help with any of the machines that they have purchased from us.
